This probably the best located accommodation on Ao Vonduang and the management know this and therefore the rooms are overcharged. The breakfast is pathetic and you are plagued by flies whilst eating.

Samed Cabana was a delight to visit, the staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and neat, and the comp breakfast was better then expected. I plan on returning again next year

The Resort is well located, quite, good food. The rooms are clean, the team is very friendly. It is really a place that we can recommand. We forgot something in our room and they send it quickly in our new resort in Koh Chang. Good service. Thank you.

This hotel has had a lot of stick on the comments section. I booked it to see just how bad this manager chap was. He and all the staff are fine. The location is the best on the beach. Make sure you book a beach front room. The room reflects the price.Want perfection pay 12000BHT a night and stay at The Peninsula Bangkok!
| Excellent! I made a big cock up this time, forgot my Vietnam visa. Realized this at airport checking Bangkok. Sent away I jumped into a taxi to Ko Samet my next destination after Hanoi. By the time I got there Sawadee had sorted out the hotel for me over the phone. When I arrived the infomous hotel manager was there waiting for me with a special drink for stress. Sawadee had explained to him what I had done. He used his own phone to contact Vietnam Airlines to get my flight dates moved. I have used Sawadee several times over the last few years this is the second time I have got it wrong and they have calmly put it right for me.

If you want relaxed days and fun, but not wild nights, this is the place for you. Samed Cabana s rooms are fantastic and if not directly on the beach only a few feet away. They are clean, pleasant and have wonderful front porches. Staff was friendly and helpful and the restaurant, which sits on the beach, was great. Try a Kebob for only 150 baht. I dont think you can find a better place for the money right on the beach.

Great location. On the beach and basic but clean and comfortable. Though food and service was below expectation. Went out for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Which can be found right next door in one of the many other restaurants.

Familyroom are little bit to old and the standard it´s not so good like the new building near the pool. Nice staff and helpful. I think it´s the best location on Koh Samet. Nice restaurant at the hotel Good and Cheap massage at the beach. Thank´s all people for you´re kindness./Tony

the room was not so nice as in the photos, moreover the receptionist impolite and not welcome. We were so disappointed. All the services are very poor.
